You don’t need better gear than you can buy in Mor Dhona until you get to level 55 -57 range on your MSQ. Then you take the Ironworks gear and upgrade items to Drake in the North Shroud. To receive the highest level 50 gear, you will need to obtain the individual armor pieces listed in the Item Level 120 – “Ironworks” section, then buy specific items to upgrade each piece. Purchased from Aelina in Mor Dhona for 600.
New players should directly purchase Augmented Ironworks Weapons and Gear (see below), giving iLvl 130, with Allagan Tomestones of Poetics.
